I am so sorry for the family and CPD on today's tragedy. I'll be praying for all of you. I can't imagine having such a dangerous job, but I am so grateful for your sacrifice & protection.
A brother is killed. I'm sad. May God bring comfort and peace to his family and friends and all of Cincinnati's finest. His wife and three young men will always remember the greatness in him.
The way things are going in this world today I am surprised that anyone would even want to become an officer anymore. This world is crazy and it seems to be getting worse. My heart goes out to every family member affected by violence. The officer and his family and friends and everyone else's family that looses someone this way. God bless those that still try to keep us safe. God try and help those that need guidance. This has to stop.
We take for granted how fragile life is, how it can be taken away in a brief moment. Officer Kim gave his life, taken in a moment, but a life dedicated to years of service and sacrifice for the protection of our society. He fought to preserve a way of life. to keep peace in an often violent world that has no regard for life. He is proof that even though a candle can be extinguished, the memory of the light that it provided is the flame of hope and decency that shall never be forgotten.
Our family has known the Kims for 15 years. Three of our children have taken karate at Japanese Karate Do where he was Sensei. You could not hope to know a better man. He was kind and passionate about his work as a police officer and an instructor. He took personal interest in each child and taught them life lessons as well as karate. Sensei taught the kids to defend themselves but never to instigate a fight which makes this situation so gut-wrenching. Cincinnati truly lost a great man today and our hearts are with his wife Jessica and his boys.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Officer Kim's wife and 3 sons. I pray for God's peace and comfort for the family, CPD and Cincinnati. Thank you to all our Police Officers and all they do. God bless and keep the Kim's Family.

I am very sorry for the loss of Officer Kim. His dedication to his job and his efforts to keep the community safe were apparent this morning. The man is a true hero. He risked his life every day to protect the citizens of Cincinnati. What bravery. I cannot comprehend the events that unfolded this morning. I can only hope that the citizens of Cincinnati realize the ultimate price this noble man paid. May God bless him and his family.
Thank you for your years of service and dedication Officer Kim. Police Officers risk their own lives everyday to save the lives of strangers; I wish today, yours would have been the one that was saved. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, friends and the CPD tonight. Rest in peace sir, I pray the citizens of our fine city realize today, we lost a hero and ban together with your brothers in blue to end gun violence in Cincinnati for good. God bless you, and may your memory make people think twice about owning and carrying a gun.
