We'll start the "happy hour" debate at 6 p.m. with four candidates who are getting less than 3% in the polls as measured by CNBC's roster of polls. Those candidates are Bobby Jindal, Rick Santorum, George Pataki and Lindsey Graham.
Tonight's debate is the first one that has a focus: "Your Money, Your Vote." Questions are supposed to focus on economics and money issues.
QUESTION: A majority of Republican voters have made clear they prefer an outside candidate. Why should they choose you?
Bobby Jindal: I'm the only person who's shrunk the size of government
Rick Santorum: You need a conservative that can deliver.
QUESTION: Would you have shut the government down instead of supporting the spending bill?
Bobby Jindal: I think that's a false choice. We would pass a conservative budget.
Lindsey Graham: What's real: threat to own homeland. I intend to be the commander-in-chief that wins a war we can't afford to lose.
QUESTION: Why is it fair to tax middle-class Americans the same percentage as rich Americans?
Rick Santorum: We offer tax credits for middle-class. $2750 per person.
George Pataki would have voted for the budget but says it's "very bad." Barack Obama is the first president to hold this nation hostage.
QUESTION: Will you do to the federal budget what you did to the Louisiana budget?
Bobby Jindal: Yes. We would cut it.
QUESTION: You said we should declare a cyber war on North Korea. What does that look like?
George Pataki: We should put in a policy...where we retaliate against that country and not do trade with them.
QUESTION: Sen. Graham - you're a hawk, was that tough enough?
Lindsey Graham: Obama is getting walked all over. When it comes to me - you can deal with a clenched fist or an open hand. Big applause line.
QUESTION: How can we lower the corporate tax rate and do away with loopholes?
Bobby Jindal talks about his personal tax program. "I'd get rid of corporate tax and get rid of corporate welfare."
He says that would bring jobs and investments here instead of overseas.
George Pataki says he would lower the manufacturing tax rate to the lowest in the developed world: 12%.
QUESTION: Lindsey Graham - You believe in climate change, you say you'd work with Democrats...are you in the wrong party's debate?
Lindsey Graham says no - that he's just trying to solve problems.
QUESTION: Aren't immigrants important to our workforce?
Rick Santorum: We have the lowest labor participation rates in history. Maybe we don't have the right training and investment in our workers ... and maybe we are bringing in too much competition.
